The Ferno PROFlexx 93-P Safety Bail / Bar Assembly (#0821946) is a bar attached to the bottom of the ambulance cot that ensures the cot stays secured in the ambulance during transport.

The Ferno PROFlexx 93-P Safety Bail / Bar Assembly is comprised of a safety stop block that prevents the cot from sliding around in an ambulance while the vehicle is in motion. This is for the protection of both patient and emergency response.
When the cot is rolled into the ambulance space, the assembly will lock it in place. To remove the cot, users simply clamp down on the bar to release the block.
